The World of Birds Wildlife Sanctuary is located along Valley Road in Hout Bay, Cape Town.
The Hout Bay Fishing Village and Fishing Harbour is just 10 km outside Cape Town can be reached either along the scenic routes of the Coastal Drive via Camps Bay and Llandudno or via Kirstenbosch and Constantia, or on the way to and from Cape Point Nature Reserve via the spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive. There are signs posted along the Main Road in Hout Bay that will guide you to the park. Free parking is available.

The Hornbill Café offers drinks and snacks as well as light meals.
You are also welcome to bring your own picnic basket and enjoy a picnic at the Flamingo Terrace right next to our Flamingoes.
Most areas and restrooms are accessible to people in wheelchairs. Visitors in wheelchairs are also granted free entry to World of Birds!
Be sure to bring your camera! The up close and personal encounters with the animals allow for some incredible photo opportunities!
Print outs of the park map are also available at the entrance.
Our curio shop sells a wide variety of souvenirs and memento’s of your visit to World of Birds.
We have thirty-eight of these attractive, agile and highly inquisitive New World monkeys. They are extremely mischievous and quick (so make sure all your belongings are safely packed away in a bag!).
They live in a large walkthrough enclosure, which allows visitors to enjoy direct contact with them.
